Princess Cruises has redeployed three of its ships for summer 2021, which has led to some additional cancellations.

Majestic Princess will sail for the first time in Alaska, replacing Regal Princess which will return to Europe.

Majestic will replace all Regal’s Seattle Inside Passage departures from May to September, except the May 5 five-day Alaska Sampler, which has been cancelled.

Regal Princess will sail from Southampton, replacing Grand Princess and offering 17 roundtrip departures to the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, Iceland and other destinations in Europe.

As a result of this change, the Regal Princess South Pacific Crossing and two Grand Princess seven-day Europe cruises have been cancelled.

Grand Princess will be deployed to Los Angeles for a new summer Mexico and California coast season.
Further details will be announced later this summer, said Princess.

Guests will have their bookings automatically moved to the different ships and will receive a confirmation, said Princess.

“We are currently assessing enhanced health and safety protocols in light of Covid-19 and how they may impact our future offerings,” it said. “Our actual offerings may vary from what is displayed in marketing materials.”
