A Pakistan International Airlines plane carrying around 91 passengers and eight crew has crashed in Karachi.

Flight PK8303 was flying from Lahore to Jinnah International Airport, one of Pakistan’s busiest airports.

Reports say all those on board have been killed.

It is believed the Airbus A320 had made several failed attempts to land before crashing near Model Colony, a residential neighbourhood of Karachi about two miles north-east of the airport.

PIA chairman Air Marshal Arshad Malik made a statement as he boarded a flight to Karachi to the crash site.
