Fast-growing travel start-up, Culture Trip, has appointed Dr Ana Jakimovska as chief product officer.
Jakimovska joined Culture Trip last September as vice president of product management for content from Guardian News and Media where she was director of product, leading the Guardian’s global digital product strategy.
Also joining the Culture Trip team to head up finance is Nathaly Carvajal, who most recently served as International finance director at Houzz.
Karen Kesner was appointed chief human resources officer last October. She was previously global director of recruitment at Booking.com.
Dr Kris Naudts, Culture Trip’s founder and CEO, said: “Our executive team has been substantially strengthened over the last few months with the hiring of leaders of the caliber of Ana, Nathaly and Karen, who join an amazing group of people who have been here for several years.

The Culture Trip team has grown from just a dozen people in late 2016 to around 300 people.
Headquartered in London with offices in New York and Tel Aviv, Culture Trip’s website attracts approximately 18 million monthly unique visitors with more than 2 billion video views in the last two years.
